Jisung and Chan have worked at a café in Seoul together for 8 years, supporting themselves while they try to get into the entertainment industry. One quiet day, Minho comes through the café shortly after moving to Seoul, and Jisung “asks him out”. Much to his dismay, Minho does not catch onto Jisung’s intentions, and asks for the two to be friends. This spirals into Jisung lying to his ex-boyfriend, Seungmin, about meeting someone new. He explains his dilemma to Minho and the two agree to pretend to date to save face in front of Seungmin. And even in this whirlwind of lies, Minho desperately tries to hide something from Jisung that will destroy both of them.

(OR: Jisung and Minho start a fake relationship in spite of Seungmin. Minho is hiding something that could shatter the foundation of their “situation”. Jisung doesn’t realize until it’s too late.)
