“So why were you in the lab?” Gepard asked. “Anything of worth Dr. Harrower would have taken with him.”
“I just needed to fetch something,” Sampo said. And added, “That’s when I found you, Captain! Who knew the doctor was keeping you this entire time?”
Gepard mulled the words over, his eyebrows furrowing. A beat passed by until he spoke. “I could have died in there.”
“Captain—”
“If the solution he administered really was the Blizard Immunity then, I would have succumbed to the effects of the drug. If not then …” He stopped before continuing. “You saved me again.”
“Well, I suppose I did! Why Captain you just have the worst luck. Not that I am complaining! Sampo Koski is more than happy to lend assistance to friends and future friends. But there was the fragmentum creature, the rogue IPC droids, the—”
“Stop, stop,” Gepard interrupted with a huff. “I remember."
