Summary
They were never supposed to meet. A Trojan healer. A Greek prince. A war born of gods, dragged through blood and prophecy. But what begins as a chance encounter becomes something stranger—something sacred. In the shadows of plague and siege, Patroclus and Achilles find each other again and again, even as the world crumbles around them.

Summary
Reader, I have taken liberties.
In other words, a "so high school" inspired Iliad/Odyssey modern au. I attempted, at least, to bring in all of the stories of the Iliad/related works. I will put in notes what inspired each chapter once we get into the actual plot. These are all interpretations, of course, but there are in fact, sources.

Summary
Achilles is taken by the gods. As punishment for all the lives he himself has taken, the greek army must send a sacrifice of importance to release Achilles, otherwise they will not be able to leave Troy.
The gods have decided the war is done, the only way to change anything is to sacrifice someone so Achilles is returned and the Greeks will not leave with loss, but in a draw with Troy.
If only Achilles knew what exactly the gods were asking for.

The story of Achilles lives on, as he is shown as a brave soldier, and great leader. Portrayed as a hero, Achilles’ legacy outlives him. His weaknesses told as none, he shines with pride. But, ‘The Glorious Achilles’ does have a weakness, one that no one can admit but himself. His lover — Patroclus. Now, what if they become lovers not in the Ancient Greek times, but modern day? -

Summary

There isn't much Achilles remembers about Opus.
What he does remember is a boy, a lyre, and a palace that shone like Obsidian.
──── ୨୧ ──────── ୨୧ ────
Patroclus can't say he's overly emotional. Most of the time, he's calm, stoic, and level-headed.
...Except when it comes to men like Achilles Pelides.

Summary
Neoptolemus, also known as Pyrrhus, after the death of his father, appeared with soldiers from his mother’s island of Skyros. He was seen as the next Aristos Achaion, a successor to his great father.
At twelve years old, the boy had the body of nearly a grown man, with fiery red hair. He was ruthless, cold, and resembled a wild beast, ready to tear apart anyone in his path.
Pyrrhus set his sights on Patroclus, his father’s lover, whom he despised for being the main reason behind his father’s death. He forced Patroclus to become his slave, both for ordinary servitude and to warm his bed.
Or.
In an ending where Achilles dies before Patroclus, leaving Patroclus’ soul engulfed in loneliness, things take a turn for the worse when Patroclus encounters Neoptolemus.

Summary
The Trojan-inspired war. But in 21st century.
The Trojan war is in its sixth year. The soldiers are forced to fight against each other, women are illegally handled with and in the middle of the fire, Achilles, the son of Peleus, is trying to balance his war life with a bit of romance. Although they live in the modern Greece, and meet mortals on daily basics, the gods had a mercy on them and made Ilia – community with its own quarters alongside Greece, with its own people who calls themselves ancients and children of gods. Agamemnon came up with far better, economical and cheaper solution than he would centuries ago. Soldiers of each country are randomly picked and then they meet the other side on the battlefield. The better the soldier, of course, the higher the chance he will get picked – and so for Achilles, fights to the death became a matter of week basic. -

What if Patroclus hadn't died?
Someone was calling his name. Not that mess of syllables rushed over the tongue. But that steady pronunciation, almost as carefully said as a prayer or a mantra.
Pa-tro-clus!
His eyes were closed by stone eyelids. A low sound reached his ears. He tried to take a full breath and that low sound rang again. It was his own throat rumbling with a groan. The groan was cut off by a half-gasp, almost whimper as something brushed his stomach. Right where Hector’s spear lodged into his flesh. He was dead, maybe dying.
“Patroclus!” Said like a prayer and a plea.
If he was dying, why did his eyes flicker to that sound. That oddly familiar sound.
“Patroclus! Please come back to me. Please!” That voice. Achilles. -

Summary
Hektor disappears into his tower more often these days — not for rest, but for silence, for escape, for him. While the war outside Troy’s gates drags on, inside its walls another battle brews: the quiet war of duty against desire, tradition against change, and privilege against love. Polydamas was never meant to live in the world of princes. Hektor was never meant to fall in love with someone so far from what Troy expects.
But when the city turns against Polydamas and his family, and the fire isn’t just on the battlefield but at their doorstep, Hektor can no longer stay silent. Between ash-stained nights and blood-stained mornings, he must choose what kind of man he wants to be — not just for Troy, but for the only person who sees him for who he truly is.
This is not a story of glory. It’s a story of hands held in the dark, of whispered promises in the face of ruin, and of love that dares to exist where it was never meant to.
