Summary
It is Jimin and Jeongguk’s first winter together as a bonded pair- as friends and lovers, as a witch and familiar. November wanes and December rises, geese fly south above bare limbed trees, it is cold and calm and quiet, and Jimin is waiting for the first snow of the season. But there is much to be done in preparation for Yule. There are potions to brew, trees to decorate, crowns to wear, and nightmares to fight. There are quiet whispers from the woods of things that watch and wait, and nights to spend at hearth and home.
Or, a small glimpse into the lives of a witch and the cat who claimed him, a portrait edged with frost, the light of the moon shining on snow, a fox slipping into shadow, here and gone. Summary
You might think that for a witch like Jeongguk, Halloween would be his favorite time of year, but you’d be wrong. Jeongguk hates the commercialization of the holiday, from the inflatable yard decor to the tacky costumes and everything in between, he finds it offensive and tasteless- too bad his new neighbor has other ideas… Enter Park Jimin, cat hybrid and baker extraordinaire, freshly moved to the tiny town of Falls Creek after a nasty break up. He loves this time of year, the festivals, the decor, the pumpkin flavored everything; he’s determined to make the most of his move and his new life in the small rural community he chose, starting with introducing himself to his new neighbor, who isn’t anything like he expected.
In fact- he’s kind of intimidating, and considering Jimin’s history, he’s more than a little reluctant to breach the divide between them.
Too bad fate has other plans.

Summary
“I’m going,” Jimin said, softer. “It’s too late, and you probably won’t even notice I’m gone. It’s okay.”
Jeongguk looked up at him with tears running down his flushed cheeks. Jimin reached down to thumb them away, and it was so familiar. One last time, he would console Jeongguk. Even if it should have been the other way around.

Betrayed by his childhood best friend, Jimin moves to America to forget all about him, leaving his broken heart behind.
Five years later, he comes back to find that Jeongguk had spent the same amount of time mending the pieces of Jimin's heart back together.
