“We will not tell anyone about this.” Shadow leaned forward as he spoke, jutting a finger at Sonic for emphasis. “You will keep your mouth shut.”
“Technically,” said Sonic, kicking his feet back up onto the coffee table and relishing the heated glare it got from Shadow. “This is your mouth I’ll be keeping shut.” He stretched that very same mouth in a smug smile just to really get under Shadow’s skin. His skin? The whole thing was starting to give Sonic a headache.
Or: Shadow's worst nightmare and a fun, new perspective for Sonic. Who knew Shadow's body would feel so great?

Sonic the Hedgehog wasn’t gay.
If there was one thing he knew about himself, it was that he was as straight as a mother fucking arrow. He was a lady’s man, a run of the mill cis-het guy. He was the normalest and the least gay out of anyone he’d ever fucking met. And he’d met a lot of people!
It had just been a mistake. Mistakes happened!! Straight guys came to the thought of their hot rivals all the time!
