Summary
Tony Stark really thought he struck gold with Steve Rogers. He really thinks this is it, the start of his happily ever after. Then Bucky Barnes is back from the dead and Tony is bleeding out in some frozen bunker realizing that he might just not have been made for those kinds of happy endings.
With thoughts of how he could possibly repay the two for the hollow feeling they've left him with, Tony finds himself in 1940s Brooklyn with an idea that might destroy him irreversibly.

Summary
Jason is bone-tired by the time he climbs through one of his safe house windows, muscles aching and patience thin. There is a heavy feeling in his lower gut that has him moving more urgently than usual. He has his helmet off and in his hands before finally noticing that the expected stale scent of a rarely used room has the heavy undertone of blood and gun metal.
