Summary
Rather than being born with it, when you find your soulmate, usually after sleeping with them, matching soulmate marks appear. Sometimes it’s sudden, almost instant. Sometimes, it takes weeks and weeks.
Omega Dean and Alpha Castiel meet in a small town bar. They’re both looking to blow off some steam. It’s pretty low risk. Omegas only get pregnant with their soulmate. They exchange names, but each of them gives the other a fake name.
Dean has a wonderful night with Castiel, but knows he can never have a life with the handsome Alpha. What quality Alpha would want a worthless Omega drifter like him? He slinks off without a word while Castiel is asleep, not leaving any clue that “Sam Harrison” didn’t really exist.
Castiel, for his part, hadn’t been expecting anything but a night of pleasure. He’s been licking his wounded heart for years after a terrible divorce. By the time the soulmate mark appears, weeks and weeks later, he realized he should never have told the beautiful Omega that his name was Jimmy Novak, not Castiel Shurley.

This is mostly based on a prompt I saw, but I’m changing it up enough that I’m not sure that it qualifies as a fill for the prompt. Anyway…
This is the one where Alphas Meg and Cas are married and have one kid. Castiel would like many more but Meg has no interest in getting pregnant ever again. She encourages him to seduce, claim, then knock up their baby sitter, Dean.
Dean has his own agenda and plan.

In short, this story is just an excuse for me to write the smuttiest smut the ever smutted on a page. This is a sweet, fluffy love story, with a handful of angst, but also with a lot of smut.

Summary
Surviving the war had been one of the hardest things Dean had ever done. Coming home from the war is proving to be even harder. Lost and adrift, he feels like he's drowning. When he happens upon a horse farm looking for help it might just be the lifeline he's been looking for.
When Cas meets the new farm hand he sees the same injured look in those eyes he's seen time and again in the horses he's rescued. Can he break through to Dean the way he has with his horses? Teach him to trust, to surrender, to connect. Can he break down Dean's defenses without destroying his own? Maybe with a little hope and a little rope they can find a way through together.
