    Thanos nods, even though he doesn't really get why she's saying this shit like she's reading him a prison sentence ending in the electric chair. "Soo...?" He asks slowly. "If he made that, he can definitely do the producing shit, too. It's just a different genre." It's true. As long as he's got an ear for what's good, and knows how to work the fancy ass machines, then Thanos should be solid.

    "Well, the issue is that he would never do it," she shrugs.

    "He'd do it for me," Thanos waves off. It's not even cocky or some shit. All he's got to do is hook the guy up with girls or drugs or an oil change, and he should be fine. "Why wouldn't he?"

    i'm ngl it's been a long time since i've read such a brain rot fic and while i was a bit put off at first...no guys...peak

    OMFG??????!?!???!? ok so i jumped on the hype train to late cause like im OBSESSED i’m ngl i started reading this in exam week cause im dumb asf and i genuinely read it in every free time i had it took me like 3 days of like 2-3 hour readings😭😭😭worth it!!!!

    i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE their dynamic bc there’s all this cute shit abt them being soulmates and really compatible and other gay stuff but when u get down to it bc of their bg and js like their general trauma there’s still so much interesting stuff in like the negative aspects of their bond and how their characterization, while it mirrors each others, its still not able to give them like a perfect understanding of eachother AKA no perfect relationship
    as in their characterization= BOMB so relationship= BOMB x2

    the way their passion for music literally has me starstruck and inspired and shit (some real sound of music crap) like genuinely its so beautiful in a way only a fan of music or a really good writer can achieve

    and also!!!most(not really most) importantly!!! this fic, when it isn’t trynna make me cry and vomit my guts out, IS SO FUNNYYYYY namgyu is suchhh a mean girl in a way that is both funny and entertaining i laughed out loud SO many times
    and the way the vulnerability is mixed in there??? fucking genuis

    don't know how i ended up here, but i ADORE the format of this fic
    it makes it so much more easy to visualize and imagine whats happening perfectly and it just lends a much stronger feeling of “disconcertment” (as in not belonging)
    i genuinely think i would LOVE an actual movie with this script

    the prose was so beautiful and their feelings are so well portrayed
    the overall feeling of “tonight, no one can touch them. this night is for them only”

    their personalities too!! luka was “nice” and vulnerable without it feeling forced and ivan was as well
    but its nice that their overall yearning was not necessarily for each other but for someone that could reciprocate, not like hyuna or till do.
    since we know ivan was desperately trying to find someone to understand him in canon with sua

    i don't know why buy i ADORE that at the end we find out that acc neither of them completed their promises (neither of them called hyuna or till) bc i genuinely think it would be out of character for them to have done it: this night is a reprieve,a stolen moment where they can be themselves in a life where they cannot and mustn’t be themselves (neither of them are good at that tbh) so it shouldn’t have any long term repercussions, no matter good or bad

    THE ALNST LUKA PARALELL i died i do think he would have been at least curious abt Ivan in ALNST bc while they're both conceptually attracted to someone opposite of them, who should be able to “complete” them, they also want to find someone like them with who to exist with a certain understanding unavailable everywhere or with anyone else.
    they yearn for someone to NOTICE they are yearning, to have that validation

    ... i literally have no words god i love this ff

    most shidou and sae fics just devolve their relationship into something completely predictable and boring and well, sexual...ugh but this fic holds such an important place in my heart genuinely it's up there in my top 10

    SAE CHARACTERIZATION!!!! i get it can be difficult to achieve mainly bc we don't have much content on him (just like...about him but we don't really know much abt him) but this is one of my favs! he's simultaneously a compete bitch who suffers due to how own choices but we also see him kinda give a window in right? and obviously since shidou is shidou he literally rams the window open and forces a place inside for him
    and shidou!! i would wager shidou is one of the easiest characters to characterize simply bc of the material we have on him! that is if you've read the egoist manga lmao
    he's such a contrast with his seemingly carefree, joking attitude and his like reflective moods u know?

    the relationship is so cute... i like how the sex had like an actual impact on the storyline and their relationship!!! shidou is quite literally the "me when a bad bitch tells me to do something" meme and honestly good for him

    and also! kaiser... ik this fic hasn't updated since we got bunny in the manga but am i wrong for thinking that kaiser's role here totally goes to bunny?

    anyway...love love love this deranged characters

    yesssss i love the final section in each chapter
    also i love how miserable shj is sometimes bc that is the vibe
    It is a bit ironic that SQQ's pessimism/pragmatism causes him to miss so many positive emotional cues from the people around him, and he'd be especially pissed off if anyone had the balls to point it out to him, lol. I think of him as walking around with whatever the opposite of rose-colored glasses is - doom waiting around every corner, under every rock, cooked into every sweet bun. Poor guy, it's a wonder he's functional with his level of constant vigilance!

    i love the system in this too!!

    i'd love to see more abt Zhuangzi's philosophy since the fic name is based on it or in general just abt Taoism since i think taoism specifically is very shj (maybe except the three treasures lol so maybe more Confucianism)

    The major aesthetic pinterest tumblr vibes this shit gave me
    I genuinely think the writer should be an author
    Like, I would buy the books
    The talent with words they have is too good

    The ship only becoming kind of true at the end is so fitting and nice because they spent almost 7 years trying to understand each other in an effort to understand themselves and be able to find just what makes them happy. And bam: feelings that don’t come as a surprise and perfectly fit the narrative.
