It struggles to adjust to this shocking discovery while trying to get the rescues to safety and security. Meanwhile, the rescues and their peculiar companion struggle to adjust to their life of freedom. The preservation crew is just there trying to help in the chaos.

Summary
Echo's time as the prisoner-turned-supercomputer for the Techno Union is freezing, unforgiving, and filled with broken memories. What was his purpose? What was his name? Nothing seemed to exist now besides the unrelenting cold and the constant orders from Command.
That is, until his search for the answers and an intercepted transmission send him hurtling toward the truth, regardless of the consequences.
When he finally breaks free from his computer prison in the Techno Union, things are far from simple as Echo attempts to adjust to a war—and old friends—who have changed since he last saw them. On top of that, this new squad he's been assigned to are anything but by-the-book; it's going to be a challenge to adjust to a strange squad dynamic he's alien to. Especially since the squad in question seem to hate his guts.

They have one thing in common - more than once they got under the skin of the judiciary and kept many policemen awake at night. But they are connected by something else - the will to survive and not end up in prison for many years.
Under duress, they form a temporary team to complete a task given to them by (ironically) people who would normally just throw them behind bars right away. And they will, if they fail and fail to protect an important person...
However, no one told them that this "important person" would be a narcissistic brat!
