Set during second year. Hermione earns herself a detention, during which a mouth soaping and well deserved spanking are administered. Expect Snape-typical bastardry out of this fic, but not parenting advice, as this is fiction and real children shouldn’t be struck.

Summary
There are more X-Men under one roof than ever before! Sometimes, that's a great thing. Having so many hands on deck means that Scott and Ororo can both head up a team of their own, after all. That means more mutants around to prevent crises and clean up disasters, more adults to teach the students, and a larger community overall.
The drawback is, with a household this size, there are going to be some growing pains. After having established herself as an X-Man under Storm's leadership, Rogue is having a hard time adjusting to the new Blue and Gold team setup. When Cyclops and the rest of the Blue team set off to stop the Brotherhood's shenanigans, Rogue simply can't follow Cyclops' orders.
Scott is at the end of his rope. Rogue seems determined to set the rope on fire.

Summary
After mistakenly flooing himself to Snape's home the summer after Sirius' death, Harry realizes that his potions master can take matters into his own hands, literally. Snape's home - a large, rambling manor with extensive grounds - provides a secluded place for Harry to face his demons and start the slow growth to maturity, but Snape constantly disrupts Harry's multiple schemes and intention to time-travel. Thankful, they have the whole summer to battle wits and words to see whose stubbornness will triumph.

Summary
So Discipline Fic-Tac-Toe gave me the prompt for Restraints/Caging between two softer punishments. The result is this fic where Jean Grey is mercilessly punished by the Shi'ar for the crimes of Phoenix. I mixed comic book canon with the ending of the 1990's animated adaptation of this story to get here. The fic is obviously not meant to be taken that seriously; spanking happens because I want it to happen, and it allowed me to do some character work that I found rewarding.

This fic basically captures the quintessential Rogue voice, in my opinion. It's one of my favorite fanfics of all time, and I'm just short of devastated it hasn't been finished. It's a regular re-read for me, in any case!
