    The box is on his doorstep when he gets home. He kicks it inside as he opens the door, feeling too hollow to pick it up.

    He slams the door shut and saunters directly to his bed, in which he proceeds to spend the next 3 weeks simultaneously sobbing, sleeping and staring helplessly at the ceiling.
