It wasn't just the potion keeping Galahad frozen. It was also fear. Not of harm. Not even fear of ravishment. His fear of Mordred went deeper than that, close to the bone. One would need to be very disturbed to get this close to the Siege Perilous. Or maybe they would just need to be desperate.
