“He knew Jungkook was supposed to be at my apartment at eight for a movie night and that I’d made hot chocolate and that the marshmallows would get soggy and he still lazed around the mall and dropped him off seven whole minutes late! And you know what he said when he dropped him off, what his brilliant excuse was?” Jin demands heatedly, and it’s silent for a moment before the speaker crackles.

Jimin gasps, and his hands fly up to clap over his mouth, heart slamming into his throat. The chains are blood-soaked, and wound so cruelly tightly around the boy hanging limply from them, bruised wrists and battered chest and a cruel collar viciously locked around his neck, chained to the wall behind him. But above everything, Jimin’s wide eyes and heaving lungs are caught on the enormous tail, deep purple iridescent scales, chained heavily and locked against the wooden slats at their feet. His bare torso is marred with dark bruising, littered with slashes, and his head hangs as if unconscious against his chest, long dark hair covering his face as he stirs weakly.
“See, those beasts I told you about?” The captain drawls, smug and aloof. “There’s six of them, with the power to take down any ship and capture any treasure and best any man, any king. And me?”
The captain leans down until his hard-lined face is inches from the mermaid’s, smirking when he flinches back with a quiet gasp and throwing Jimin a darkly victorious grin. “I have their youngest.”Bookmarked by ALittleShit

Without halting the rapid dart or clicking of the mouse, Jeon Jungkook's left hand flies up and suddenly, Jimin is facing the barrel of a gun. He freezes, hands at his sides and eyes wide open in shock, breath catching in his throat, and through the camera he has nestled in his headset, Namjoon and Jin spot it and gasp, swearing lowly.
"No sudden movements, Jimin." Jin cautions, and in that moment Jungkook, who hasn't looked up once from the screen yet, glances up, and Jimin narrows his eyes at the big, shining eyes, the sheepish smile that dares cuteness, the apologetic mumble.
"Sorry, just one sec, I'm almost done."
Jimin stares, bewildered. "What?"or, Jimin's infiltration mission is going well until their target's son Jeon Jungkook throws a wrench in their plans; or does he?

The fear jolting through Jungkook's limbs intensifies, and Jin doesn't look away from Jimin’s grey face as he takes a short breath. “It… maybe. But… Jungkook might... not make it.”
Everything is greying, wavering, and there's a faint ringing in his ears as he holds out a shaking arm in front of him, fingers trembling from the frigid cold or the paralyzing fear. Namjoon’s voice is steady when he speaks. “Jungkook, we don’t want to hurt you-”
“Then don’t, please, please don’t hurt me!” Jungkook cries. “Please, they - they hurt me so much already, please.”
He yanks at the torn shirt, pulls it open desperately, hears their sharp intakes of breath at the ragged bites on his neck, his deeply bruised arms and shoulders, the scabbing flesh over his ribs. Hoseok shudders and closes his eyes. There's no change in Namjoon’s expression, but Taehyung’s eyes are wide where he still kneels beside Jimin's unconscious form, and Jin looks devastated.
Jungkook's heart thunders, and as he whispers, his voice breaks again. “Please, p-please, please.”- Language:
