    Summary

After being rejected by his dream school, Izuku decides to spend his gap year in Japan and “spread his wings,” whatever that meant. It’s been 12 years since he left his home country and best friend, who he abruptly lost contact with when he moved to the U.S. He didn’t really know what to expect when he got back to Japan, but it definitely wasn’t becoming obsessed with「Hero too」, an up-and-coming band that dreams of helping as many people as they can. Before he knew it, his entire world was shifting on its axis because of their gravity.

    Or

Izuku’s down in the dumps until becoming a Dynamight oshi. Which in itself is great, but he doesn’t realize Dynamight is the same childhood friend he’s been yearning for since he was 10. Yeah, that’s totally not gonna blow up in his face later on.

    Summary

When Katsuki had asked Izuku to join Ejirou and Denki’s podcast as a one-time feature, Izuku didn’t expect to come back a second time. But when his All Might St. Patrick’s Day underwear was exposed to almost half a million people live, and Katsuki’s fiery spirit channeled recklessly into a lung-crushing humor, the world knew then that these two boys would become an internet sensation.

Grappling with the sudden demand from viewers and rising popularity, Katsuki and Izuku soon realize that with every stream comes thousands of people hopping onto the #BKDKU train—and it’s spreading like wildfire across the media.

In an attempt to test the waters of their new relationship, Katsuki and Izuku realize that their alleged romance isn’t just the latest internet fad, but something terrifyingly close to becoming a reality.

Kirishima hums. “I didn’t read it as something as simple as that,” he muses. “It didn’t seem to me like Dynamite fell in love with Deku over the course of this season, or even the course of the show. To me, it was more like he realized he’d always been in love with him.”

Katsuki grips the steering wheel so tightly he fears it may dent under the pressure.

“Shut the fuck up,” he hisses.

bakugou and midoriya play opposing characters on popular tv show my hero academia. they work best this way, because they don't like one another in real life either.

    except—

now, their characters are being written into a love story. and their characters have always been reflections of themselves.
