//The damn phone wouldn’t stop vibrating. Finland snatched it from his bedside table and moved to put in on full silence when he noticed that there was an incoming call from America. He swiped to accept it. America never contacted him out-of-blue, so this could be an emergency – or a prank call.
‘Hei, hello, is something the matter?’ Finland sat up, blinking sleep from his eyes. The clock on his phone read seven-thirty. It still looked dark outside, but that was to be expected in February.
‘No, dude. I mean I don’t know.’ America’s voice sounded more mellow than usual, quieter even. ‘It’s the card you sent me. I got to say I’m flattered, but I don’t feel that way about you.’//
It's February 14th, and in honor of Friendship day, Finland has sent out cards to every nation he has an embassy in. It's just too bad that most countries do not view this particular day as a day to celebrate friendship.

For months, Netflix had been promoting Nations Reality as a dramatic yet realistic portrayal of the Nation Personifications’ behind-the-scenes lives throughout history. Supposedly, it would be the first drama to be made that featured the NPs as a whole, instead of just a single NP and their life.
When it was finally released, it was a total bomb. It was historically inaccurate, badly written, and an all-around mess.
But when America decided to livestream his reaction to it on YouTube, it became a meme.
