    Summary

    Rumi is a young aerospace engineer who has recently gotten into her own routine on the moon of Pandora. She handles most of the aerodynamics for her small team, lead by her Aunt Celine. The team is focused on creating a fixed wing craft for this new atmosphere and gathering data to ensure the RDAs sucess on this moon.

    Rumi wants to learn all that she can to help everyone better understand this place. This place that she wants to make her home.

    Maybe the persuit of knowledge is what keeps her coming back to these two. Wanting to know about their lives.

    Maybe she wants to learn how she can fit into them. Learn how to make them smile. Learn why they make her day brighter.

    Polytrix Avatar AU! I was influenced by Solarsapphos on Twitter to write this.
    I'm also saying (for anyone keeping track of any timeline) that this is all happening BEFORE the Navi outreach program is fully established so My girls have little reason to distruct Rumi at the beginning bc Humans haven't Totally Fucked Up Yet.

    Summary

    Drift watched the exchange with a smile Shelby had always found strangely calming.

    "You know," Drift said, "I think Firefly gets jealous."

    Shelby looked down at the tiny dragon now trying to physically wedge herself between Shelby's hand and Fern.

    "I think you're right."

    "I wonder where she gets that from."

    Shelby rolled her eyes, "Definitely not from me."

    "Mm."

    OR;

    In a magical academy where four young elemental mages discover an ancient prophecy foretelling the same tragic fate as their legendary predecessors, Drift and Shelby must navigate hidden feelings, misunderstandings, and the growing fear that destiny cannot be changed. As their friendship blossoms into love alongside their loyal friends and baby dragons, they choose to defy the prophecy together, proving that while history may guide the future, it does not have to define it.
