"Kid, what's in yer backpack?" The chef asked with a suspicious look.
"That's what I was trying to explain!" he said, unzipping his bag to reveal a crying baby monkey with bright orange downy fur.
MK began to bounce from foot to foot slightly, trying to settle the cub but it only made the crying worse. Fat globs of tears rolled down the little ones face as he cried and hiccuped.
"I can't get him to stop!" MK shouted over the crying.
"Is that?!-" Tang tried to interject, finally snapped out of his tired haze.
"The monkey king, yes, now please help me get him to stop crying! " he shouted again
Or what happens when MK doesn't listen to monkey king's warnings about not messing around in a room full of dangerous artifacts.

Summary
What if Macaque ended up being taken care of by a couple after his defeat at the hands of Sun Wukong? Being affected by the kindness of the couple, Macaque ends up becoming their family spirit and guardian. Centuries later, Macaque -now reformed- ends up adopting Qi Xiaotian, otherwise known to his friends as MK.
After MK obtains Wukong's staff and becomes his successor, life might just get harder for the black shadow monkey.

He fumbled with his binder as he took it, eyes wide as he said, “are you sure? I mean, I love poetry and all, but I don’t think-I’m not sure—what if I can’t write poetry?”
Mr. Sam’s dark eyes softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Everyone has to start somewhere; every poet, from me to Rudy Francisco, started off without knowing a clue about what we were doing.
