    Gyro quit his half-assed struggling, hair falling and sticking to his sweaty face, forehead pressed against the cool ground, acutely aware that the only noise around them was the faint chirping of a few crickets and their own heavy, labored breaths, Johnny practically panting into his ear. It was in that idle moment that Gyro realized two things:
    The first was that he had completely and totally lost the match.
