Summary
Mike's life is split into two, clean halves. His life in Indiana, in the sun's harsh light, where he's fucked up in more ways than one. And then there's his other life, under the alias of legendarymichael, on the never-ending planes of the Internet. His digital heaven, where Mike exists as an untouchable, faceless deity; worshipped and praised.
Mike is good at keeping the two separate. Or so he thought, until Will Byers collides into his neatly sliced life, and derails it all when he takes a bite from both halves.

Faceless content creators legendarymichael and williamethyst snowball into an online rivalry. At the same time, Mike Wheeler meets Will Byers at a dog park, and begins to fall in love. Those two sides of their lives begin to bleed into one perfect storm.

Mike’s heart stutters and he meets Will’s eyes immediately, giving his knee a squeeze. They share wide-eyed expressions.
“You did?” Will’s voice finally matches the expression on his face as it sounds a bit more breathless than any of his previous few-word responses.
“Yes.” Mike imagines Cass nodding. “We have two sisters, a fifteen-year-old and a four, nearly five-year-old.”
“Two?” Mike mouths to Will in disbelief. Holy shit.

Or: Will, the vampire Slayer, notices Mike has been starving himself for too long. What happens when he decides to offer his blood to the vampire? Is it the first of a series of bad decisions? Probably. But the pleasure, oh sweet pleasure, is all worth it.
