In a world where the organization of SHIELD is fictional, Melinda May and Phil Coulson are pulled back into the lives of Heidi and Charles after five years since the ending of the Secret Agents series - or so they thought.
Melinda and Phil have known each other since their senior year of high school, brought together by their shared love for the art of theatre despite their opposite personalities. Since then, they had went to college together and worked together until they drifted apart after Melindas' marriage five years ago.
Producer and writer, Maria Hill, brings the cast back together for another movie that showcases the backstory of Heidi Wen, played by Melinda Qiaolian May.
What will happen when Phil and Melinda are pushed closer again?
What will be revealed as the cast of Secret Agents - The Cavalry film the final movie - or is it?
Basically an Agents of SHIELD AU focused on the relationship between Phil Coulson and Melinda May as they come together to film another film. Characters are all owned by Marvel unless I add someone else.

Spoilers for AoS:
Melinda is exhausted. She'd rather fly into space, kick some ass or even deal with Deke's antics. But being a professor? It was uncharted waters. If she wasn't careful, she may drown. In the paperwork.
Phil, on the other hand (no pun intended), wants the mundanity of human life. Still grappling with what he deems as "being tech" makes him want to relive everyday life. But when did he ever have that luxury? He strolls down memory lane and finds himself helping Melinda map out the new chapter of their lives.
