There is some Italian in here but it's translated immediantly. Figlio Mio = My son. The rest of the Underdogs come into the story later in the chapters.

Alberto struggles to find his place in Portorosso after Luca and Giulia leave for school. Slowly he makes a friend who helps him settle into life in the small town. He quickly takes up a Lifeguard position, and life melts into place. Things are easy for a while. Luca and Giulia visit home for thanksgiving and after they leave once more, Ercole rears his ugly head. The marks left on Alberto from Ercole’s torment stirs some concern. Alberto keeps to himself and it causes trouble for the Marcovaldo household.
