Summary
Stanley closed his eyes tight, grasping hopelessly at any sort of memory– but his attempt proved to be as ineffective as it always was. His head began to ache as he squeezed his eyes shut even tighter in pursuit of a memory that had long since been lost. Maybe if he just tried harder, focused even more intensely–
The sound of footsteps approaching the door immediately ripped Stanley from his thoughts, scaring him shitless and causing him to leap to his feet. His heart pounded in his ears as he grabbed the nearest weapon that he could (which turned out to be a mop) and clutched it to his chest. For as long as he had been here, Stanley had never seen another living person; hell, the only person he had ever heard was the Narrator.
After such a long period of solitude, the prospect was suddenly terrifying.
Stanley didn’t have to wait long to find out as there was a gentle knock on the door, which was quickly followed up by a voice. A very, very familiar voice that was suddenly much closer than it had ever been before.
“Open the door, Stanley.”

Summary
The fire roared in front of Hanako, scattering on to the grass. Behind him, he could hear some of his fellow wonders gasp.
"Why...?" A voice filled with despair, questioned him. Hanako let out a bitter laugh. He turned around and was immediately greeted with eyes filled with shock and terror.
Hanako immediately looked down, not wanting to see the mix emotions relected in their eyes. He offered them a small, pained smile.
"Tell me..." He started, gaining enough courage to finally look them in the eye.
"What's the point of having this garden of mine when the girl I planned to give every rose, turned me down?"
