Summary
Even though a bond of trust and understanding had formed between them during their year of sharing a room together in Akademiya dormitory, all the while there remained a certain distance between them that Kaveh couldn't break through. Even if he wanted it very much, while unaware that his gaze involuntarily always ultimately rests on the younger man.
Alhaitham has had tormenting pains and has struggled with hypersensitive hearing since childhood. He has always handled it himself. Until a night so painful that it changed many things in his life.
Alhaitham and Kaveh find a common language that doesn't require moving their lips, although paradoxically both can't take their eyes off their lips
