    The rooftop was quiet that day, the sky tinged with the warm hues of late afternoon. Behind him, Tetsuya heard the soft creak of the door opening, followed by the measured rhythm of footsteps approaching across the concrete. Seijuurou came to a halt beside him, standing tall and composed as always.

    “I have been informed by Coach Shirogane that you have chosen to accept his offer to attend Rakuzan,” Seijuurou said, his tone as composed as ever.

    “I didn’t choose Rakuzan.” Tetsuya turned to face him, meeting his gaze with quiet resolve. Though a storm stirred within him, his eyes did not waver. He hadn’t chosen Rakuzan for its prestige, nor for its promise of victory. He had chosen Rakuzan because Seijuurou would be there. He had made his decision, and the words that followed felt both like a confession—and a vow. “I chose you.”

     

    This is a retelling of KnB and KnB Extra Game, set in an alternate universe where, instead of Seirin, Tetsuya attends Rakuzan to be with Seijuurou. Slash. Established relationship. Akashi Seijuurou/Kuroko Tetsuya. Akakuro.

    “Can I help you?” Alhaitham asked, settling back into his chair. He was never completely sure where he stood with Tighnari. Were they friends? Possibly. Probably. They drank together, at least. But Tighnari was a little too sharp for Alhaitham’s comfort; he always felt a little transparent under his eyes. But now those eyes weren’t focused on him. They weren’t really focused on anything. Tighnari looked half-mad with exhaustion, hair mussed and ears twitching wildly. He leaned one hand heavily against the doorway as he slumped in place.
    “Where is the Temple of Silence?”

     

    When Hermanubis turns against his host and leaves Cyno near dead, Alhaitham has too little time and too much desert to search in a desperate bid to find the Temple of Silence and the only people who might be able to save him. (Oh yeah. And then maybe he can confess.)

    The guy sat down next to the road, which was next to a tall gallows’ tree. It almost felt like an archway Yuuji had to go through to make it out of this gloomy graveyard. And he would have taken that path and never thought about this sad man ever again, had he not noticed the rope sticking out of the man’s bag.

    … Just there, right next to the man was a black bag and Yuuji saw rope sticking out of it.

    Yuuji dared a look just as he was about to pass by the sad man and saw a tearstained face with no motion. Like a statue poured with rain drops.

    “… Can I offer you company?”

     

    Yuuji meets and befriends an older man who is grieving his dead disabled son, not knowing how unstable the poor man really is
