Summary
A long time ago in a Galaxy far, far away a mad scientist became so obsessed with a brilliant Chiss warrior that he wanted to make him indestructible through genetic modifications and enhancements.
Thrawn doesn't particularly like the idea of someone experimenting on him, but during one of his missions to neutralize the mad xenobiologist, something irreversible happens to him.
Of course, there are always ways to turn what has been done to his own advantage, but does it mean he would make the same choices, if he were given a second chance?Series

Summary
Rebel leader Hera Syndulla would do anything to distract herself from her recent loss, even if that means pursuing Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn into the Unknown Regions.
She gets more than she bargained for when both are captured and thrown into a brutal labor camp. To survive and escape, she has no choice but to rely on the man she loathes. But the Thrawn she meets on this alien planet is different to the image she held in her mind, and understanding him might set them on a wholly unexpected path.
