Sukuna took another drag, exhaling slowly. “Sometimes I think about just… packing up, getting out of here. Going somewhere no one knows us, somewhere we can just…” He paused, glancing at Yuji. “I don’t know, maybe that sounds stupid.”
Yuji shook his head, taking the joint back. “No, I get it. Sometimes I feel it too.”
Yuji’s heart learned to lie first. To say something else entirely, anything but the truth. But lies, like smoke, slip through fingers no matter how tightly you hold on.

“This is the last one?” Rayne asked, his voice edged with disbelief as he glared at the key Dot had just handed to Mash like it was a cursed object.
Dot shrugged. “Booking mix-up. Logistics nightmare. On the bright side, it’s a really nice room. Rustic charm, lake view, very – uh – cozy.”
Rayne considered disintegrating something. Dot. The key. Himself. Maybe all three in quick succession.

Mash found this task surprisingly challenging, even though all he had to do was write a simple note saying he was sorry.
After struggling with writing the letter, as well as his confusion about why it was so difficult, Mash decided that he needed help, and went to his friends for advice.
