Summary
Dean Winchester is divorced, emotionally constipated, and way behind on the deadline for his next book. Naturally, the solution is to install a hyper-intelligent, slightly smug OS named Castiel to help whip his life into shape.
Cas is efficient. Supportive. And kind of charming, in a weird way.. Also? Unreasonably flirty for someone who lives in a hard drive somewhere.
Dean's not falling for him. He's just.. lonely.
So, why does Castiel feel like the only real thing in Dean's life?

Summary
Twenty-three years of head-over-heels, devastating devotion and love, love, love for the man with bright eyes and dark hair. Fourteen years of friends, best friends, of always together. One moment of rejection.
Nine years of apart. Nine years of heartbreak, nine years of continents away, of not speaking, of no acknowledgement, no interaction, no closure, no peace. No happiness. Nine years of Dean’s life entering motions, going through them, constant, cold and mechanic, like clockwork. Nine years of alone.
God. Nine years. A lot has changed. And yet Dean still loves Cas just the same. Even if his heart hurts all kinds of different.
On the day of Jimmy Novak's funeral, Dean sees Cas for the first time in nine years. He adored Castiel the moment he met him, at only four years old. But after fourteen years of friendship destroyed by one moment of heartbreak, and after nine years of silence, Dean is convinced Cas will want nothing to do with him. And it's killing him.

Summary
Castiel Shurley doesn’t understand why an engineering major keeps showing up in his upper-level creative writing classes. He knows part of having a liberal arts education is taking things outside of your major, but who takes 400-level English courses for fun? And even more galling, his classmates keep gushing about his short stories. You would think Dean Winchester is the next Isaac Asimov.
Then Castiel finally gets assigned to peer edit one of Dean’s short stories… and he recognizes it. To be fair, it’s a great story. Too bad Dean didn’t write it. He stole it, lifted straight from a fanfic, with the serial numbers barely filed off.
