    “How about by your own saber?”

    Only for the sake of their mission does Mu Qing pull the full force of his reactionary punch, and Feng Xin blocks it easily with his forearm. His eyes burn with an unspoken but obvious challenge, and Mu Qing holds his gaze for as long as he dares before letting his fist drop to his side.

    “We’re wasting time,” Mu Qing mutters, finally turning back towards the shadowy path under the bamboo grove. “Are you coming with me or not?”
