Summary
“So, polo,” he says, looking Henry up and down. The contrast between their appearances—with Henry in his clean white breeches and pale blue Ariat-branded polo shirt—is stark. “That’s the one that’s like croquet on horseback, right?”
Henry is so relieved that they’re not dwelling on his accidental come-on that he can’t even be that offended. Alex delivers the barb with that same teasing smirk, and Henry is forced to laugh as he scoffs. “Not exactly.”
(As a professional polo player, rodeo is a foreign world to Henry. But when his new sponsor organises a photoshoot with a top rodeo star, he finds his life turned upside down by a bronco rider with big brown eyes and dark curls. Surely this won't become a problem...)

Summary
They’ve been dating for seven weeks and three days (not that Tim is counting or anything) when the memory comes back to him, and he has to fight a smile even as Lucy tugs on his hand, trying in vain to get him off of the couch while he playfully swats at her.
He remembers sitting in the shop, the two foot space between them insurmountable and the tension thick enough to cut with a knife.
How’s single life?
It’s good. No one to complain when I want to watch football all Sunday.
“Tiiiiiiiiim.”
Tim chuckles and pulls Lucy down on top of him instead of letting her tug him off of the couch. She huffs in surprise but melts against him immediately, her knees bracketing his hips as he runs his hand up and down her back, underneath the large sweater that he’s certain is his no matter how often she denies it.

Summary
It was their first Valentines Day. And he almost ruined it by being a jerk to her all day. The only reason it wasn’t a complete bust is because she’d been adamant to not let his attitude get to her. He even made her apologize for something he should have been thanking her for. And he is sorry. He should have told her so, but he can’t bring himself to.
Takes place after Tim and Lucy had dinner and ran out of fuel.

Summary
Tim Bradford does not walk away. And in many ways Lucy Chen is his exact opposite. But he thinks that maybe, on this one character trait, they are very, very much alike. There’s no quit in Chen. And he thinks that this might be why she’s so hell-bent on this undercover thing. She has started it, made it her singular goal to convince everyone around her she has what it takes, and now she can’t back out. Even when Tim thinks she might want to.
Or:
Chapter 1: After the Tesca undercover operation, Tim is doing all he can to take care of Lucy's needs, and tries to make sense of his own.
Chapter 2: Tim and Lucy being good at arguing and settling the whole UC issue in one, nice long sitting.Bookmarked by AliciaKV
