Summary
In the late 90s Jared and Jensen were selected to become part of the boy band Sync’D, which was manufactured to be a success. They soon became global heartthrobs, living the dream and crushing the hearts of teenage girls. But behind the scenes, the pressure was suffocating - especially for Jared and Jensen, who had to hide their feelings for each other to preserve their image.
When the band breaks up Jensen becomes a successful solo singer, but Jared doesn’t have the same luck as his former bandmate. He feels he has no place in Jensen’s new superstar life anymore, so he quietly withdraws and eventually disappears completely. Years later, Jensen still suffers from Jared’s disappearance, having simply no idea where he may be. Eventually, he finds a hint and takes off on a trip abroad to maybe learn the truth about Jared’s whereabouts. Old wounds resurface, secrets unravel, and as the truth about Jared’s disappearance comes to light, they’re forced to confront what was left unsaid—and whether love is enough to heal what’s been broken.
