“Are you into Okkotsu?” Todo comes out and asks it, making Panda choke on his laughter. “The center,” he clarifies. “Number thirty-seven.”
Toge glares at Panda, knowing this is his friend’s doing. Great, now Toge has to commit murder before going to his class later. He should’ve just kept his mouth closed around Maki and Nobara.
“He fits my criteria,” Toge states with caution. “Why?”
Todo’s grin gets bigger. “Sweet. So, listen, we’re having a party this Saturday to celebrate winning our last game,” he explains. “Okkotsu will be there, so you should come.”
Now, this is interesting but also confusing. It’s not as if Toge is the only person interested in Okkotsu, far from it. It doesn’t make sense for Todo to be inviting him to the party. Okkotsu doesn’t even know Toge.
So, what the hell is Todo getting at here?
“Okkotsu likes you, so you should be there to give him some confidence before we play the quarter finals,” Todo suggests. “Just trust me and come.”
or, Todo and Panda try and set Toge up with Yuuta. Toge should've known better than to trust those idiots.

Summary
The entire yard was plunged in a coldness that went beyond physical. Toge’s eyes widened and he froze up, back tensing. “Okkotsu!” The trainer shouted.
Toge turned again and pinned him with his sharpest glare. “Don’t come closer,” he snapped, before he could think about it. He paused, mouth tightening into a line. The man froze, and alongside him, so did his father. Neither of them moved.
Toge turned back to Okkotsu, who was staring at him, wide-eyed, and less exhausted. “I’m sorry,” he repeated. “I don’t know why they ordered you to do this.”
Okkotsu smiled, sheepish and tired still.
“I’m Toge,” he repeated softly.
“I’m Yuuta.”

Toge’s mark develops when he’s thirteen. His power is coveted and dangerous, and he requires a guard to protect him. Luckily for him, Okkotsu Yuuta, also thirteen, has just been discovered by the Inumaki clan, and they want him for Toge. Yuuta is devoted, beyond their expectations. This causes problems.
