Dealing with his own issues, he leaves everything behind for a peaceful life in the muggle world away from the reminders of the war. His plans always go askew. Especially when an assassin named Edward breaks into his home, intent on dragging Harry to a city in America and to a family Harry never even knew he had.

Intriguing melding of HP into the Anita Blake world (not necessarily a crossover as it's basically post-canon for HP & so far (5 chapters) no one from that world apart from Harry has been featured. However if someone says it is a crossover it wouldn't be worth arguing).
Harry is Anita's stolen child. This is about when she gets him back.

The Playboy and the Scientist, puddleofgoo
SGA AU with no extra-terrestrial content. Rodney is still Rodney, but John works (reluctantly) for his father. He falls like a ton of bricks for Rodney though, once they meet! That meeting occurs because R is kidnapped by a rival company & J rescues him. How can J protect R & others from Genii Corp, and to some extent Patrick Sheppard? That what we're about to find out.
Really good plotty story.
