Summary
Alexander stands up on shaking feet. “I can’t do this anymore.”
He takes a few steps back and his eyes shift towards Dream. “I’m sorry.” He whispers before turning around and heading up the stairs, one of the guards quickly follows after him, a hand on young man’s back to steady him.
“Alex! Alex, get back here right now!” Roderick hollers back.
He turns to the Endless and growls. “You’re never getting out of here.” Before following after his son.

Roderick Burgess doesn't meet a fatal end and after his son leaves him, things take a dark turn.
In his desperate attempt to take power from his prisoner, Roderick Burgess resorts to twisted ways to force the Endless to give him what he desired: Immortality.
Dream never thought humans capable of such cruelty and yet here he was now scared and in pain, hoping for salvation. -

Summary
During Episode 6 "The sound of her wings."
The year is 1689 and after Dream hears Hob's tragic one hundred years he decides to provide him with a bit of comfort. Some delicious food, drinks and warm room with a steaming bath. Conversations are had and drinks are exchanges and the Lord of Dreams finds himself a lot more chatty than he usually is. He blames his big sister for that.

While working on a new nightmare Dream catches wind of a strange sound one that can mean only one thing: Someone is dreaming of him.
Curiosity gets the better of him and the King of Dreams finds himself investigating the odd occurrence only to find Hob Gadling suffering in a nightmare and begging for his stranger's help.
This takes place like maybe around a decade after 1689, so Dream still has his luscious locks.

“It’s healing really well.” Katara tells him with a smile, before her lips quirk down into a frown. “Though it’ll still scar pretty bad.”
Zuko shrugs. “It’s ok. I doubt people will really focus on it anyway… the one on my face is a bit more prominent.”
Katara makes a face, like she’s not quite sure if she should laugh or frown, when Toph speaks up.
“You have a scar on your face?” Toph asks, sitting up so she’s sitting by his legs rather than lying on them.
Zuko blinks. He never quite forgets that Toph is blind, but the fact that she can’t see his scar never really occurred to him.
“Oh, yeah.” Zuko looks down at his lap. “My father burned like, half my face off before I was banished.” He says it a little too casually, probably not bitterly enough.
A crash next to him makes him look up, to see Katara's horrified expression, and a shattered bowl of water at her feet.
No one says anything for a long moment.
“Zuko… it- your dad?” Katara finally manages to gasp out. Zuko blinks at her, his brain moving slowly.
“You didn’t know?” He asks in genuine surprise.
“No.” Sokka wheezes.
Zuko blinks at him. “Oh.” Is all he can manage to say.
