So instead of bothering her with his neediness so instead he uses the holochamber to stimulate his family dinner nights with Reagan.

“Oh my god, go away,” Michael groaned, curling up even tighter and shifting to face the other side of the car.
“I can’t,” Jeremy stated. He was so sure of it, but couldn’t come up with a reason why. Jeremy paused, sniffing the air briefly.
“Jeremy.” His voice was breathy and soft, almost beckoning. Jeremy wanted Michael to keep using that voice. His hand came up to try the handle again, but the car door was still locked.
“Jer, I’m in heat.” Jeremy froze. The scent from before dulled as he registered the words. Oh.

Michael ditches half the school day, maybe more, and Jeremy finds him in heat in his ugly PT Cruiser. He really wasn't planning on losing his virginity in the backseat of an ugly car, but he guesses that's what friends are for.

Ever since she was little, she was groomed to take over her father’s legacy. Instead of being a rebellious teenager, she spent years perfecting her craft, missing out on friends and forgetting basic needs just to finish her never ending projects.
She could feel the finish line. Her place at Cognito Inc. being cemented. Her position being irrefutably valuable. She would be the boss, something her parents expected but also doubted. And she would be better than her father in every conceivable way.
