Summary
Leigh has always been a little abrasive. She can be a bit.. bloodthirsty at times, and is quick to raise her voice. She accepted this about herself a long time ago.
But when the woman she’s weathering the apocalypse with actually takes her up on one of her *many* threats, Leigh realizes two things:
One, that if Hellen were ever actually mad at her, Leigh would be finely diced in an instant
Two: that Leigh would absolutely love that.

Summary
For Leigh, the visitor was freedom. Freedom to exist how she always wanted to, deep down.
Freedom to fight, freedom to run wild, freedom to throw herself into death's jaws time and time again and come out laughing.
If only it could include freedom from consequences. If only it could include climbing Hellen like a tree.
But as the days pass and the world continues to change, some of those freedoms may prove far, far more costly than they're worth...

Was Leigh planning to kill her? Most likely. Hellen wasn’t necessarily worried. She could easily defend herself if need be. Although the knowledge didn't do anything to relieve the gnawing anxiety that at any moment she may have to fight for her life.
An exasperated groan caught her attention and she turned to see Leigh laying on her back, sprawled across the floor. “When are you going to be done with those STUPID dishes already?”
