Summary
When they’d found John ‘Soap’ MacTavish in Hassan's last known location, he was nothing but a mostly dead, filthy omega covered in watercolor bruises and deemed feral by everyone who encountered him. It didn’t help that he’d tried to rip through the arm of the alpha that first approached him, showing off bloody fangs to the rest of his should be rescuers.
Ghosts first impression was dementedly different. He wanted nothing more than that violence turned his way upon seeing bright baby blues forcefully clinging to life. The same nostalgic savagery that clouded his every waking moment for once was mirrored back to him.
The order from Shepherd to use the omega as bait has Ghost sick to his stomach. He felt like a child, not nearly strong enough to hold the rage he'd once seen in his father that now bubbled beneath the surface of his own skin.

Based entirely on the Maiden demo and first published before the game's release, this is more of a vampire AU than an RE story.
