Summary
Mirabel doesn't remember much of her uncle before he left but she could be happier to have him back home. Especially with Casita almost rebuilt and the family finally starting to heal, things seem to be on the right track.
She knows it will take her tio a while to get used to society again but with how awkward he is around her she's having trouble helping him readjust. At first she assumed he was like that with everyone but as the weeks went by Mirabel is still the only one he walks on eggshells around.
But Mirabel doesn't realize the reason for his hesitancy to get close with her. After all it's a secret only him, her parents, and Abula know about.
