Summary
Alastor never expected to have a child. After the death of his mother, he had resigned himself to being alone. That resignation had only solidified when he arrived in Hell, and all that it entailed. Summary
[RadioApple Week - Day 2: Enemies, Pining]
Alastor is an unseelie, a fae demon who upon losing his wings has sworn to bring vengeance and misfortune towards the cause of all his ills: King Vox. His perfect victim? His son, the naive Lucifer Morningstar. The child has been left to his fate to be raised by three undercover fairies as his uncles.
For Alastor, it might represent the idea of meeting his enemy: he would certainly enjoy Lucifer's inevitable end in falling into an eternal sleep. It all sounds good, except that the fairies in charge of taking care of his enemy, actually make the toddler starve and freeze him to death in the face of his poor care. And of course, Alastor cares for the child as the years go by.
Although he swears that Lucifer is his enemy and that he will grow into a monster, with each day that passes caring for him, the more he is puzzled as to whether it is true the feelings growing deep inside him towards the son of the human that he once loved as his true love.
