“Will you braid my hair, too?” Lance startles. His eyes focus on the three girls hoping around and braiding the golden hair, and then his gaze falls on Keith. At some point in his mini-crisis, Keith had continued to watch the movie, and now those deep indigos were staring up at him, awaiting.
“Now?” he says dumbly, because what?
What is up with him today?
Or: Keith has had enough of Lance's oblivious-ass and decides to be less subtle around him. The fever helps him as well.

Summary
Before Lance’s friends arrive at his apartment for their weekly movie night, Keith is in Hunk’s car on the phone to Lance, trying to explain why they’re late, again.
Mid conversation, Keith drops his phone under the seat. Assuming Lance has hung up, Pidge and Hunk start pestering Keith about certain feelings that he may be harboring, leading to some quite personal confessions.
Little do they know, Lance has not hung up, and is listening in on every word. Shenanigans ensue.

It was too much. Keith didn’t know how long they had been doing this, had lost track a while ago, but it was too much. He was far into over-sensitivity, every nerve feeling like it was on fire, his legs shaking as the strength was sapped out of them. Nothing made it past his lips except screams and sobs, mixed in with the occasional nonsensical plea. If it it weren’t for Lance’s hands holding him up, his legs would have given out long ago. God, it was all too much. But that’s what made it perfect.

He didn’t like change, never did. When his dad made him go from a crib to a toddler bed, he cried and protested for months. When he was given a food he didn’t like in foster care, he tried to give it to the dog. When Shiro said he’d have to change his schedule for Korean lessons, he couldn’t sleep for a week.
Needless to say: he hated change. He didn’t like it, never did.
He didn’t want him and Lance’s dynamic to change because of this.

The room went dead silent and Regulus could see the triumph in Sirius’ eyes. He had thought he won. But he could also see the humor in his friends eyes and he knew different.
Barty turned to look at Evan. “I don’t know, Ev might be.” Evan proceeded to slap Barty’s arm.
“Silence says a lot.” Sirius pointed out.

And there is a bit of question as to whether the man the group is looking at is James Potter because never would they think that James could even think of possessing clothes like that--let alone in all stark black. But then the song has the dancing couples turning oh-so-slightly, and it’s undoubtedly James, his glasses and smile making it glaringly obvious.
And just to add onto the shock of the whole situation Sirius’ jaw drops further, “Is he dancing with Reggie!?” Remus takes a second to look over his friends’ dance partner and lo-and-behold, the man holding James’ waist is Regulus Black.
...
Remus, Sirius, and Peter sneak into a Slytherin party with the help of Marlene and Dorcas, though they're very aware of the fact that James was 'busy'. Upon being at the party they see a certain someone with a certain little brother.
