Lin Shu calls him stubborn, and perhaps Jingyan is stubborn. Once he has set his will to something, he remains steadfast on that path, unwilling to be deterred or distracted. Lin Shu, on the other hand, is a wildfire. Encompassing all that's in his path. Burning. He burns in Jingyan.
"Ah," Jingyan says, the sound knocked out of him as Lin Shu pushes him onto his back and fusses at his laces. "Xiao-Shu."
