“Okay.” Saejima says flatly.
Nishiki sits in nervous anticipation and bites his lip, already hard in his pants from a single word.
“Be nicer to yourself. ‘N fix your sleep schedule.”
He blinks. “I—”
“Text Kiryu back already, he misses ya.”
“I meant,” Nishiki pinches the bridge of his nose as he hisses it out, beet red in the face, “things like ordering me to suck you off, Saejima.”
Saejima frowns and crosses his arms. “You’d do that if I just unzipped my pants, I don’t need to order ya for that.”

They’ve been doing this for years, almost as long as they’ve known each other. Saejima smells like vanilla and sharp barley. He walks around the counter, overcome with the urge to tuck himself against this big, bearlike man, to fit against his frame and absorb his body heat. So, he does. He climbs onto his lap and loops his arms around his neck, the stool beneath them creaking with their combined weight. They’re both heavy with muscles and recent body fat from the endless spreads of hunted deer and bear, and the stool is ancient, unused, its legs stiff from the cold. Baba doesn’t care, though, as he perilously throws his legs around Saejima’s thick waist, fitting himself over his crotch.
Saejima sticks his arms out to hold onto the edge of the bar, just in case.
“Making yourself comfortable already, huh?”

In Kiryu's absence, Nishiki is doing his best to hold down the fort and be the kind of man everyone is wanting him to be but it's proving much more difficult than he could have ever imagined.
A late night anger walk around Kamurocho to clear his head only makes things worse, leaving him not only with his thoughts but a torrential downpour, a soggy suit, a wasted cigarette, and even more of a chip on his shoulder.
Things finally start to look up, though, when he takes refuge in the MEB shop front and he's recommended a pick-me-up at Club Shine for a night that will change his life.

This body of his, finetuned for years to be as physically excellent as possible, can get him what he wants. Where Kiryu fights his way to power, Nishiki will fuck his way to power. Humans are slaves to their touches and desires, anyway—there’s no amount of money or psychology or yakuza willpower that will keep a man’s dick at bay. Not in an industry like this.

Summary
Kiryu had started to wonder not when would Majima strike again, but why he did what he did. It was easy to write off this as madness, or obsession. But after realizing this whole image he knew for some time now was just a plain act, his views on Majima had started to crumble.
What was he about? What turned him into the man he is now? And was the damage irreversible or did Majima just hide behind wacky smiles?
Majima's transition to Mad Dog wasn't so smooth, his old self resurfaces, and Kiryu, finally, notices that he is much more than his act. And now he's determined to know this new side of his rival.
