Summary
There was a dark shape floating above him. No, now it had separated, there were two shapes. Two distinct but fuzzy shapes of roughly human head proportion. Slowly his focus cleared enough to make out one Haruka and one Majima. Make that a concerned Haruka and a concerned and livid Majima.

“Everything alright?” Kiryu asked, paying the cashier the money for his cigarettes before beginning to leave, Nishida at his heel.
“Of course,” Nishida said, deflating slightly. “You know about… the boss, right?”
“Pardon? Majima-san?”
Nishida shook his head, pulling out his lighter when Kiryu took a cigarette from his new pack. “I mean Goromi, sir.”

Summary
He waves a hand in the direction of Kiryu’s voice, staring up at the sky. Majima tells him, “Don’t be. If I didn’t have anythin’ guidin’ me I think I’d really go crazy.” He hears Kiryu make a quiet noise in his throat. Majima lolls his head over to look at him. The final wash of golden daylight touches his face like he’s been chosen by some divine force. He smiles. “Besides, Kiryu-chan,” he says, “If you’re the one holdin’ the leash, I don’t think I mind.”

Summary
Asking Kiryu on a date is supposed to be a joke. It’s just another in Majima’s long list of contrived reasons for Kiryu to get mad enough at him to fight him.
So he’s thrown for a loop when Kiryu doesn’t answer him by punching him in face, but by accepting.
Obviously Kiryu’s playing along, just like he did with the bartender scheme, and with Goromi, and everything else. Majima can work with that. There’s no way he’ll crack before Kiryu does.
Or: Majima commits to the bit so hard he ends up in a long-term relationship.
