Well, this time, he decides he's had enough if she won't trust him. Why should he even try? But with the appearance of a second Hawkmoth on the scene he might not have any choice but to work with her albeit reluctantly.

Running home one night in the rain, Marinette finds Chat Blanc in a cold alleyway. Instead of running away, or transforming into Ladybug, she decides to speak to the villain, who seems... off. Sad, almost.
But that was stupid- what reason would Chat Blanc have to be sad?
Marinette can't help but wonder about that night, and about Chat Blanc, and she soon comes up with a (stupid) plan.

Adrien is completely okay with pursuing this, and with constantly lying to the love of his life who prefers a shiny model over his true self. Nothing is amiss, and he is absolutely not going to devolve into a canyon of angst and guilt about it!
Besides, he's sure his increasingly confusing friendship with Marinette will keep his mind off things.
(Literal years ago, I managed to write this fic with every side of the love square and identity reveals and all sorts of stuff... and completely forgot about it. UNTIL NOW! Enjoy!)
