Mustering up enough courage to rival an archon, Alhaitham extends the arm that’s been glued to his side, presenting the brilliant Padisarah in his unsteady hand.
“I hope to be eternally yours, Senior Kaveh,” he mumbles with a heavy tongue, feeling his face grow warm as the words leave his mouth.
Alhaitham knows romance just as much as a Sumpter Beast knows how to recite the researcher’s code of conduct. But when it involves Kaveh, he's willing to try.

“Jayce, go away!”

“Jayce, we are in a sewer pipe in the deepest part of the sump.”
“I know, it's very weird that you're here too, Viktor. By the way, in case you're cold I accidentally brought extra mittens.”
A story about a Machine Herald who is not as perfect as he thinks he is and his puppy boy partner who is definitely not following him wherever he goes.

Alhaitham and Kaveh knew each other in the way that even if they tripped in that pothole, slipped on that spot, or stumbled over that crack, they would still find their way home.
