Rody has coincidentally won another free trip to Japan! Midoriya is so thrilled to see his friend again he doesn't question it. Rody is so thrilled to see Midoriya again that he can't stop smiling whenever he sees him. People kept telling Rody how brave he was for saving the world. It was easy. Rody's world was going to eat lunch with him in an hour. If Pino could stop acting like a lovesick fledgling, maybe Rody could enjoy his time in Japan and ignore how much he wishes he could hold Midoriya's hand when they walk through the halls together.
Damn, this isn't normal. Rody needs to get his shit together.

Izuku faced torment and constant ridicule from his peers. Mocking him for having dreams of becoming a hero even though he was born quirkless.
The boy seeked refuge to his childhood bestfriend, Katsuki Bakugo, who was the root cause of the bullying.
Izuku asked him a single question.
A question that became his last.

But when a mandatory Social Studies project on "Nature vs. Nurture" pairs him with his childhood friend-turned-bully, Izuku is forced to engage with the world he's trying to leave behind. Through the lens of a camera and weekly meetups, Bakugo begins to notice that the nerd isn't scared anymore—he's empty.
And Bakugo decides he hates the silence more than the muttering.
