“Princess?” Vi asked innocently.

“How did you-”
“I saw you asking for help with it last week.”
“So you’re keeping tabs on me?” Caitlyn folded her arms. “That’s low. Even for you, Lanes.”
Vi looked at her test in Caitlyn’s hand and then back at Caitlyn. “Seems to be working.” She shrugged.
“Watch yourself.” Caitlyn said, her voice low.

She practically hears her eyes open. They’re so dry she can’t see shit. A few blinks and rubs do the trick, and her room comes into relative focus. Time to see if her mystery lady is still in bed with her. If she thought she could hear her eyes open, it’s nothing compared to the sound of her neck turning. Like glass grinding against concrete. This is the worst day of her life.
