Senior prom is rapidly approaching. Tara and Simone feel bad that I'm the only one without a date, but I try to convince them not to worry--I'm happy to just help the prom committee and soak in the festive spirit. Besides, I have no shortage of friendships. There's my childhood friend Zayne, my locker neighbor Xavier, my art classmate Rafayel, and my (step) brother Caleb, of course. Even Sylus, the mysterious delinquent, seems to be warming up to me.
Tara and Simone insist that I'll get an invitation. But from whom? There's no telling how prom night's going to go... A wholesome date? An angst-fueled crisis? I guess there's only one way to find out what destiny has in store...
