“The exit wound. Repeat what I just did.” Yelena thrusts the needle and thread back into Kate’s hands, leaning forward so that the archer can access her back.
“Guess they don’t teach manners at Black Widow academy” Kate regrets the words as soon as they’re out of her mouth, she’s yanked forwards by the front of her suit, tip of her nose brushing against Yelena's.
“Say something smart again. I will cut your tongue out.” The widow spits.
Their eyes lock, and the atmosphere in the room shifts for what feels like the umpteenth time tonight. Kate’s gaze flicks to Yelena’s lips, tinted crimson thanks to a small split.

Yelena struggles with her new found freedom. Kate’s life has fallen apart. Clint is sick of both their shit. Sonya is a wind up merchant, and someone wants Kate dead. Maybe somewhere along the way everyone can find some kind of redemption.

Natasha returns to what's left of Shield after making a deal with Ross, much to Maria's relief, happy to have her old friend back. While out on a mission, they come across something that neither of them ever expected to find, a scared gifted child. Not allowing her to remain trapped in a lab, Natasha rescues the young girl and they start their own adventure with Natasha taking on more responsibility than she ever thought she would. But how long before the person that created her comes knocking?
