Summary
Love potions are a dangerous, and morally repugnant, part of the magical world, but they're far too volatile to really compete with other forms of covertly subverting others, like the Imperius Curse. But Harry, in the Auror's Office, has a sense that a Dark Wizard is coming close to developing a new kind of love potion that's more subtle, more devious, and much more dangerous. For help with potions, he turns to Hermione, a witch brilliant enough to beat his unknown enemy to the punch.
