Event, after party, after ceremony, after event. Laki played Go and Shogi.
The clacking of the pieces against the board as she played was annoying, at least in her opinion; her parents seemed a little obsessed with the sound.
She didn't particularly like or dislike the games, but there were things she'd much rather do.
Since her parents are considered monsters, she was automatically branded as a player.
Not that it wasn't true- Her parents have been placing Go stones and Shogi tiles in Laki's hands since she could breathe-
Instead, the fault of the court lies in assuming Go and Shogi were Laki's only skills.
Laki took mere days upon returning to the court after a forceful leave of absence to turn it on its shoulders.
Having her father's and mother's intelligence yet not their laze, the courts, inner and outer found new appreciation for her family's slacking.
Eventually, something shiny catches her attention in the rear palace, and much like most things that catch her interest, there's something to uncover. As she buries herself among cases, she finds something out she would've preferred not knowing.Bookmarked by Apelsinchik

Look, Marinette's thought process was completely sane thank you very much. Lila lied about her working with Hawkmoth, everyone believed that so why can't she work with him?
His designs are terrible and she has so many ideas! Better ones than him at least, and Hawkmoth wasn't that bad after you got to know him, he even binge-watched her favourite shows.
Sure, he tried to destroy the world a few times but he was no Gabriel Agreste, he really needed help designing things and she needed a distraction from every day life.
